“Growing up, our home was the hub of family entertainment. No television, just dinner parties and the obligatory game of cards enjoyed by my mother, Nancy, and her friends every week. There was always an open bottle of sparkling wine to be enjoyed by the ladies at such gatherings. “Beats waiting for the kettle to boil”, my mother would say…To honour Mum I have produced a gentle, sparkling wine—for those who enjoy the delights of simple entertainment with good friends. After all, as time goes by, the kettle seems to take longer to boil.”
