The Armagh

Nestled on gentle slopes, high upon a north-facing hillside in an ancient landscape, lies a special piece of earth. Lush old vines are woven across its gentle undulations, and the vineyard, like the wine that comes from a small corner of it, is named after the remains of a nearby village settled in 1850 by pioneering Irish migrants. The vineyard's orientation, with its contoured rows of vines, unique soil with rare gravel deposits and diverse microclimates, has been instrumental in the creation of one of Australia's most highly regarded fine wines.
