The majestic Clare Valley is situated only an hour and half from Adelaide. The region has been producing wine for more than 175 years and is host to more than 40 different wineries. The valley can be enjoyed all year round but comes alive during the Clare Easter Races and the Clare Valley Gourmet Weekend held in May.

The Clare Valley is an all year round holiday destination. From sampling award winning wines to experiencing local grown produce or visiting the various historic townships – the Clare Valley is perfect getaway for the whole family.
With over 40 different wineries to choose from, you can visit the Clare Valley and try somewhere new each time. The famous ‘Riesling Trail’ is a 32km route, providing a beautiful journey through the region. Best explored on a bike the ‘Riesling Trail’ allows you to explore the various towns, cafes, restaurants and of course the wineries along the route.

Clare Valley Rocks is an initiative to showcase the geological formation and how it impacts the grape growing and wine industries. A series of interpretive signs have been placed throughout the Clare Valley which visitors can explore and learn more about the geology.
