Nearly 150 guests attended the Jim Barry High Tea, featuring special guestGlenn McGrath, on Sunday 15thMay 2022 at clos Clare, Watervale. The event raised just shy of $10,000 for the McGrath Foundation to help fund specialist McGrath Breast Care nurses across Australia.
Set on the picturesque lawns of clos Clare, guests enjoyed a selection of delicious food and Jim Barry wines. They also heard the remarkable stories from special guest Glenn McGrath as he talked about the inspiring work of the McGrath Foundation.
It was the first time McGrath Foundation Co-founder & President, Glenn McGrath and CEO Holly Masters have visited the Clare Valley.
The event built on the three-year partnership between Jim Barry Wines and the McGrath Foundation which was announced in November 2021. The winery produced an exclusive Rose, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon under the Nurse Series for the McGrath Foundation, with $1 from every bottle sold helping to fund a specialist McGrath Breast Care Nurse in South Australia for three years.Â
