The Armagh Book

It is our great pleasure to introduce the 2018 The Armagh, to you, our valued customers. From the first vintage in 1985, The Armagh has achieved remarkable success and is regarded as one of Australia’s highest quality wines. It has been rated as ‘Exceptional’ in the Langton’s Classification of Australian Wine since 2012 and is one of a handful of Australian wines listed on La Place de Bordeaux, which is arguably the world’s most prestigious distribution network.

We were thrilled to receive 100 points for the 2018 The Armagh by Decanter Magazine. This is a truly exciting milestone for our business, as it is the first time we have received at perfect 100/100 for The Armagh. The full review is included below.

The 2018 vintage also marks 50 years since Jim Barry first planted Shiraz vines on The Armagh vineyard. His vision and foresight has provided us with the most wonderful old vines to craft this outstanding wine. To honour this milestone, we have created a new commemorative book- The Armagh: Rare Earth and Fine Wine. It is a compendium of tasting notes for each vintage and tells the story of the vineyard and the history of the wine.
